Warmbaths is situated in the Springbok Flats, 80 km North of Pretoria the administrative capital of South Africa. It lies nestled in the foothills of the Waterberg mountain range in the Bushveld region of South Africa and enjoys a sub-tropical climate in a Malaria Free Area.

With an average of 265 sunny days a year and mild Warm winters. It is the ideal holiday destination.
Mountains, natural hot mineral water springs, dams, rivers, trees, sunsets and warm hospitality ensure that a visit to Warmbaths is a must on any travellers itinerary.

The British Blockhouse in Warmbaths, Bela Bela  HISTORICAL PLACES

  • Buyskop - Landmark ruins that provide evidence that sandstone was removed to build the  Union Building's in Pretoria.
  •  British Blockhouse - Erected to protect the railway line during the Anglo-Boer war.

The largest Crocodile farm in the Southern Hemisphere that is open to the public. 
Tours are held daily from 9:00 am - 4:00 pm . There is Crocodile meat for sale, there is a curio shop and a tea garden.
Entrance Fees R 50.00 adults. Special tariffs for schools and senior citizens apply.
With more than 10 000 crocodiles and fully guided tours by tour guides, this is definitely an experience not to be missed.
Feeding times at Thaba Kwena are one of the highlights of a visit and happen only during the summer months, normally Saturdays at 14h00.
Don’t forget to say a “Hallo” to the newest addition to Thaba Kwena's “family” – the American Alligators!
Thaba Kwena is situated approximately 14km from Bela Bela (Warmbaths) on the R101 towards Modimolle (Nylstroom), and then turn on the dust road, named “Groot Nylsoog”. Follow the dust road for +- 4km and you will find thier entrance on your left hand side.

Padstalletjies / Road stalls
Many delightful roadside stalls or padstalletjies line the main roads in and out of Warmbaths. From quaint coffee shops to hand made basketwork and fresh fruit and vegetables/ honey/ trout/ biltong/ local artwork and country crafts etc. Each one having its own special merchandise on offer.

Warmbaths Waterfront Complex
A new and exciting development in the Warmbaths area, interior decor, restaurants, pubs, curio's, nurseries etc. It also houses the Warmbaths/Bela Bela Tourism Office.

Day Visitors are allowed at the Warmbaths Dam where you can picnic or braai, bring your boat and enjoy a day of water ski-ing or just fun in the sun. (A day visitors fee applies) At this dam motorised boats and other water craft are allowed. This dam is situated approximately 12 km outside of town out on the Alma Road, the entrance is to your left.

Warmbaths Bela Bela Dam No 2
This dam is for camping, fishing, braaing and rowing boats - no motorised boats or other craft are allowed. This dam is also on the Alma Road and is about 7 km outside of town. The entrance is on the left and the entrance is not well advertised. (Please note that this dam's grounds are not being maintained by the municipality and it is therefore currently not recommended)
